These are just some pics I took to try my new camera out before his BIG DAY!!

In the Chinese Years...I'm a RAT!!

And this is what it means about me....sure is RIGHT ON!!

All I can say is that if GOD would have told me ahead of time that things were going to go as smooth as they did I would of slept alot better the nights leading up to his BIG day!!

We kept prepping Jaxton all week for this day and I think he had the time of his life that day....even though it's only been a year :) !! Just about everyone showed up to celebrate! Jaxton even made me break a sweat with all the jumping around in the inflatable zones...whew...I really need to get back doing some Cardio Exercise!! Ross was busy capturing all the moments on video like a GREAT DAD would do!! We will have those memories forever now!!

I was so excited to see what Jaxton was going to do with his 1st piece of cake....which is the first true sweet he has ever had....and what would you know....he cried and then threw it up!!! Too sweet I guess!!! Or maybe he is a chocolate boy!! We will try again!! Or maybe he would like an Organic Birthday Cake...haha...just kidding!!!

The Puppy Dog costume character did not scare Jaxton one bit...in fact he was very happy with the puppy dog holding him in his arms....hopefully he will love Santa just as much this year!!

He was pretty worn out playing with all his friends that I was for sure he would CRASH the second we got into the car BUT he got his 2nd wind and enjoyed his Birthday party with our families back at the house and finally crashed at 7 o'clock!!

I am ever so grateful to have such wonderful friends in our lives to share these special moments with and I thank every single one of them for loving Jaxton so much!!

We have been giving Jaxton a couple gifts a day so he won't be too overwhelmed with all his presents and can actually enjoy each one of them....and he is!! Hope he doesn't get used to a new gift every day....well at least Christmas is not too far away!!

We are going to celebrate Jaxton's real birthday, Sept.25th on Friday by first getting his 1st haircut and then staying downtown at the Hilton of America's all weekend which will include his 1st college football game on Saturday when Texas Tech plays UH!!! So we will catch up next week!!!
