Jaxton LOVED this Slide the BEST....we did it several times and it was SO FAST and he wasn't scared at all!! I was so worn out climbing up all those stairs to get to the top!!

We made our way down to the Houston Rodeo and met up with some friends and enjoyed the beautiful day and all the fun rides! Jaxton just meets the 36" requirement so he was able to ride alot of the rides! He LOVED the Ferris Wheel and was so excited that we stopped at the very top for awhile and was screaming out of pure FUN!! Although his sippy cup somehow came out of my back pack and fell onto the young girls way down below us and were drenched in his Grape Gatorade...thank goodness they were ok!! Dada will for sure have to come next year to help out with the Slide Rides....I was so worn out but Jaxton had a blast....he wanted to do this one extremely tall slide over and over again....it was like doing the StairMaster at the gym climbing up to the top of that thing!!
For Mardi Gras, I was determined to make my own King's Cake this year and was praying the dough would rise and IT DID !!! Now I know I can make BREAD!! To celebrate the season I saw on a popular web-site that Discovery Green was hosting the 1st Annual Mardi Gras Parade Downtown....so since we have been in the Parade Mood....I loaded Ross and Jaxton into the car and away we headed to Discovery Green! BUT there was NO Parade or Celebration to be had...we even checked at the Concierge at the Hilton of Americas who saw it on the web-site but said that they had not heard of anything!! Oh my goodness!! So we switched plans pretty quick and let Jaxton run around then headed to the House of Blues for some dinner and then we decided to take Jaxton to his 1st Houston Rockets Game. We hadn't done this yet because I knew it would be very hard to get a 2 1/2 year old to sit still ....and I was right....we at least made it to half time then we were on our way home. I think the pre-game festivities were way more fun anyway!
So now it's time to get ready to celebrate St. Patrick's day so off I must go to get things planned!!

Leprechaun Pudding.....we added instant vanilla pudding, milk and green food coloring and SQUEEZED and SQUISHED until it formed pudding!!
