We are definitely still here and I can't believe I have gone this long without updating his blog!!! Oh my goodness!!! But it has been non-stop around this house!!! For the past 3 months I have been painting, re-doing, fixing-up, cleaning and revamping our house for the new addition coming in only 1 more month!!! I think I have finally hit a wall and need to rest up now....so many Braxton-Hicks contractions!!
Well since the last Blog update there have been many things going on. First and foremost, my Grandma ( Jaxton's G.G.) died on February 21st....I did not write anything about it before now because she was a very private person and I did not want to upset her when she would read Jaxton's Blog. She was diagnosed in December with cancer and then it spread like wildfire all over her body. We couldn't believe such a healthy person all her life could go so quickly. We finally put her to rest this past Saturday, April 14th at Memorial Oaks cemetary where my Dad is buried. We will miss you G.G. but we know you are with us always!!!
My Aunt Janine turned 50 in January and we surprised her with a Big Birthday and then my sister turned 4o in March!! So many cakes I have been eating!!!
I threw Jaxton his usual Annual Valentine party & then his Egg Decorating Party and now we are going to rest with "kid" entertaining for now!! In the meantime we managed to throw a big wedding shower for my Mom's best friend's daughter, Ashley, who is getting married in May...if I didn't have the baby that day then I think she is stuck in there...LOL !!!
Easter was filled with lots of egg hunts and lots of candy....not sure how I am going to get Jaxton away from CHOCOLATE!!!
Ross's company finally revealed who they were laying off after all these months and THANK GOD that Ross was saved!!!! He knows how BLESSED he is to still have a job and is helping all his friends out find new ones who got laid off....such a sad time in our economy.
Jaxton has been such a trooper these past couple of months with my nesting and getting everything ready. I think he is "super" excited for her to be here now!! He absolutely loves babies everywhere we go...just hoping that happens with his own..LOL!! He still has an obsession with pipes and drains that now we visit Lowe's and Home Depot quite often to get a new "pipe".....SO MUCH CHEAPER THAN Toys R Us anyways...LOL !!! The other day the man that works in the pipe department, Gary, told us that there is a 12 Step Program for Pipe Addiction that we should enroll Jaxton in...LOL!!! They seriously think he is so entertaining and most men in there who talk to him want to hire him to help them build things....they say he knows more than the guys they usually hire! Oh what this will lead to when he gets older I wonder everyday!!!
Well I guess I am checking out for now so I can go finish us a few last minute things before Presley decides she wants to be here. If all goes as PLANNED ( now I just jinxed myself)...I will have a c-section on May 17th. Hopefully she will wait until then or at least very close to that!! We are so excited she is almost here and just pray that all is well when she comes!!!
