Weekend Getaway...Or was it really??

This week was pretty quite concerning Jaxton although he still keeps me up quite a bit at night when he thinks its play time!!! I sure do have an active little one in there!!

BUT....this week I got brave enough to wear my FIRST MATERNITY suit to work ( it kinda made me look more pregnant than I was)....so as I walked into my first office (who we are like family with ) the girls noticed my "new" suit and said I looked really cute but didn't think I needed to wear it just yet...weren't they sweet!!!!!! BUT then it happened out of the clear blue....I truly was not expecting it at all.....

Dr. T said, " Stephanie, WOW you sure have gained a lot of weight in your belly...your only 5 months...I'm worried about you....you are going to be HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

WHAT????? He did not just say that!!!!! I tried to convince him it was my new suit that made me look more pregnant than I was but he would not agree!!! So what did I do......... I went back to the sweet girls and they reassured me and couldn't believe he even said that!!!

Well the rest of my day went great and I went home just as comfortable as when I left for work!!

As the week drew to an end, our weekend getaway at my sister's house to take care of her dogs while they went on a 4-wheeler excursion began ( she only lives 12 miles away but you feel like your out in no man's land )!!

Friday night we went to one of our favorite local hangouts in Magnolia...Saw Mill Grill....where you can either sit at a dinner table that looks like something in your grandma's house or pull up a plastic chair to a card table for some good ole' country cookin!! You don't even have to wear a bra here either if you don't want too!!! But the Beer is COLD and the FRIED PICKLES are to die for!! Although we did not die from the fried pickles we ate ( I had been craving these for weeks) we should have died from the CHICKEN FRIED CHICKEN we ate!!!

Saturday Ross played golf with some buddies while I was all prepared to lay out by the pool and have some peace and quiet time while I tanned those white legs of mine and tried my new "MATERNITY" swimsuit!! I even went to Academy and bought two new floats, a new hat, some new crocs sandals and a new beach towel ONLY to get all dressed up and the pool area set-up just perfect for this day of serenity to have...AND the RAIN COMES!!!! So after trying to fight the clouds all day I finally gave up but did end up getting some sun through those cloudy skies!!

Ross came home and we showered and went on our way to have some dinner at a "new" restaurant in Tomball!! It's called ZaZaZa Seafood with a flair of mexican food....that should have been our hint to choose something else...but we drove up to this decent looking restaurant and walked in to begin our Saturday night dining experience in Tomball, Texas!! Before we even had time to finish our queso some lady began yelling ( and crying) at another lady so the whole restaurant could hear, " You don't ever tell me to shut-up" repeatedly!!! Then one of the old men in their group was running around waving his cane like he was going to hit you...BUT WAIT....the best part of all.....It was Huggy Bear night??!! What was that???? KARAOKE NIGHT!!!! Between the 85 year old lady singing her poor heart out and the lady that was yelled at singing " Something in Red by Bette Midler" ....WE ESCAPED!!!! We went back to our "getaway house" and called it a day!!

Sunday, we met some of our Sunday school friends out for lunch and talked about being pregnant the whole time and compared notes ( and bellies )!! Be have 3 girls pregnant and one that just had twin boys!! Then we decided to head back to our "getaway" to try the pool thing one more time!! This time it worked!!! EXCEPT...my sister's dog Harley loves the water and would not get out of the pool...so for fear of her drowning ( after TEN minutes of her swallowing water as she swam round and round having fun and biting a hole in my new float) I told Ross we had to get her out!! You just can't go pick her up because she does not want to get out and may snap at you like she did my float so Ross decided to just try to steer her back towards the stairs so she knew how to get out and WHAM!!! ....she bit down on his hand and blood was drawn!!! I just kept thinking..." please do not let me go into early labor" as I was trying to get Ross away from her and then tried to get her out...BUT she wouldn't come!! After numerous PANIC calls to my sister and them almost home ( about 15 minutes away ) Harley finally wore her self out and pranced up those stairs like she said " I will come out when I am good and ready!! And I am ready now...thank you very much!!!" Ross drank about 8 beers to subside the pain and I laid on my torn-up float trying to finally get those white legs tanned!!!!!!!! It was a SUCCESS!!!

The BIG REVEAL!!

Well I ended up making it to Friday but without a lot a sleep and nervousness. FORTUNATELY the BEST news was that all my tests came back PERFECT....Whew!!! Also I have only gained 7 pounds...Yea....and the baby is at a great weight! But I am sure I will catch up these next few months!!

When we were taking our "1" hour ultrasound pictures and measurements....we SAW IT!! It looked like a long head popping out of a turtle.....It's a BOY she said!! I knew it!! All these nasty little zits have been from all the testosterone being produced...at least they will go away as soon as he is born!! And all the stretching and pains are coming from him hanging out so low...trying to stretch those ab muscles of mine!! Ross was estactic as you can imagine....the first born a SON!! Well at least I will still get all the pampering!!

We have already decided on his name: Jaxton Ross Hvezdos!! We will probably be calling him Jax a lot. His name means" GOD has been gracious; has shown favour" which is so true!! What a pure blessing this is to has this little guy in our lives!!

Since we are so fond of wine in this family Ross googled "Jax" to see if there was any wine named after him......and what do you know.....THERE IS!! Is fact, there is a vineyard in Napa Valley called "JAX Vineyards" !! That will probably be his first trip..HA!! Ross was so excited he ordered some bottles of wine and they are on there way!! You know what you will be drinking when you come to our parties from now on!! ( Hopefully it is good ).

Saturday night we went to our good friends Travis & Noreen's going away party...which we are all still very upset they have decided to leave us!! BUT gives us a great excuse for some road trips to New Orleans!! I told Noreen it's time to start the family so we can have all the kids about the same age and they can grow up with each other and carry on our partying traditions...BUT she said they must wait a little longer...maybe it will just happen by mistake....right Noreen?? We got to see one of our other good friends there too..Chris & Renee who are expecting November 1st...and guess what...she has those same nasty friends on her face too...BET she is having a boy..will let you know in about a month!!

OKAY...so the BIG REVEAL was on Sunday where Ross and I had decorated the house as much as we could in BLUE to surprise our families with what we are going to have. We had blue dinnerware, flowers, candy, plants, candles, lanterns, tablecloths, etc!!! It was kinda like a Baby Shower but so much more FUN!! And it turns out they all predicted it was going to be a BOY!! After much baby talk and many presents we all opened...I CRASHED!! What a week of anticipation and excitement!!

Now it's on to many more body changing moments and getting the nursery ready....FUN!!!

18 Weeks!!

What a week this was!! I felt the baby move around this entire week and on Saturday as I was lying down before we went out to dinner we SAW the baby makes kicks in my tummy many times....!! I definitely felt like I gained more weight this week. Even Ross says "Wow" you are pregnant!! Well go figure when I feel stretching pains ALL the time now...poor skin....hang in there!!! The friends on my face are just enjoying hanging out partying so I don't plan on them leaving anytime soon....anyone have any ideas how I can get them outta here!!!

This week I am definitely going to have to pull out the maternity suits....I have been pulling up my skirts as far as I can now without revealing anything!!

Ross and I celebrated our 2nd Wedding Anniversary at Carmelo's on Saturday and we both ate like we were having twins...it was soooooooooo good and then we came home and passed out!!

Some of our good friends from Sunday school had their "REAL" twins last Thursday and we were able to go into the NICU to see them today....they are so precious!! She has to leave them there for 2-3 weeks just to make sure everything is good and they grow a little stronger....BUT the nurses said usually premiees like this have "micro" penises BUT this was not the case with these two....everyone got a real kick out of that!!

Ross bought me a really sophisticated HD video camera to capture all these crazy and once in a life time moments!! So get ready to see lots of videos when you come to see us.....just kidding...I know they are boring when they are not your own but just in case you miss out on anything too hillarious!!

I am so EXCITED about this Friday when we find out the sex....I just want to go to sleep and wake up when it's here....See you then!!!
