Okay, it has been too long since I updated you!! Since 5 weeks ago we have been nesting alot around the house trying to get it ready for Jaxton and ourselves!! I have been crossing things off "My To Do" List a lot this past month since I am growing in size and now have to turn my leg sideways to tie my shoe!!
We have bought new bedroom furniture...BUT I did not realize just how high the bed would be!! I can barely get one knee on it to pull the rest of my body up without feeling like I am 90 years old!! There will be a furniture stool in the room before too long!!! And I just slide off of it in the morning!! But when I have to get up every night at 2 am to use the bathroom I get scared I might not be able to get back up on it!!
I traveled to a fabric store for the first time in my life and discovered a whole new world!! WOW!! What options they have in ONE place!! I found some fabrics for my sister's friend to make Jaxton's bedding...what fun it has been to create something just for him!!
My sister also has been so gracious in taking on the HUGE task of throwing me not just a baby shower BUT a Couple's Baby Shower / PARTY!!!! Oh what fun we will have!!! Sorry Laura for the "large" invitee list !! Paybacks I know will come one day!!! One of my dearest friends, Heather, has been a complete blessing...she took me to Babies R Us for 1.5 hours and helped me register for what I will "REALLY" need...I was still in amazement at all the stuff it takes to get started!!
Tomorrow I have a man putting chair railing in Jaxton's room so we can get the painting started!! And for those of you who really know me....that is my fortay!!! I will show you soon what it looks like!! I ordered all the furniture back in April so hopefully it will show up soon!!
As far as my body changing these past 5 weeks you would not believe it!! I had a check up on July 11th ( one month since my last apt before Mother's day ) and I was anxious to see how much weight I gained since she told me I was underweight some at my last apt. So as I step onto the scale and watch her little finger keep pushing the black box more to the right my heartbeat began to quickly increase until she finally stopped!! I asked her how much???????? She said 10 pounds since last time...I said there is NO WAY!!! So off to the examination room I go in total disbelief!! I go from UNDERWEIGHT to OVERWEIGHT I think!! She comes in and says.." WOW....we usually don't like women to gain this much this fast but we will see where you are next month." The rest of the apt went great. Blood pressure was very low and my tummy measurement was right on target she said so no need to worry about the 10 POUNDS!!!!! Yeah...whatever...like I can just forget about that!!
After the shock, I decided I just couldn't worry about the numbers!! I eat really good and have been exercising 4-5 days a week so what ever it takes to have a healthy pregnancy I guess I will say " BRING IT ON"!!
So my loving family decided that on Father's day they would take bets as to what my final weight will be when I deliver...A CONTEST!!!!! My totally compassionate husband said I would be 156 ( that's 41 pounds I will have gained )..whatever!!!
Plus I turned "33" this month!! So to celebrate I self indulged in Fettucine Alfredo since wine could not be on the list!! ( Ross you might just win the contest now!! )
Lastly, this past month we had a sales meeting down in Galveston with my team which consists of 8 women ( 4 that are PREGNANT )!! So enjoy the picture of us four as we do a "LINE-UP" for you!!
