Where's my pants??? oh well, I will just dance my way outta here" Mom-mie's Coffee!"
Squeezing my belly button together....something my Dada does:)
These past 3 weeks have been crazy!! First, Jaxton came down with a cold/virus for a week and then he ran a 103.5 temp so I took him back to the Dr. and after blood tests, strep culture and urine test she basically ruled it as a virus still but maybe bacterial....so I went ahead and gave him an antibiotic and he ran a temp of about 99.9 everyday for over a week! He finally got better and we rushed out of the house to do lots of things!!!
Jaxton has finally gone back to sleeping through the night...BUT there was 3 nights in a row that he didn't want me to leave him in his bed so I had to get Ross to go in there and tell him Mom-mie went to take a bath and put her pajamas on and it did the trick....so on the 4th night I told him that and he laid right down to go to sleep....interesting things these little guys go through.
Ross left for an entire week to go to New Jersey for training and finally got home this past Friday night....that was the longest he has ever been away. So we made sure we kept ourselves busy and did lots of things around Houston.
We went to the Children's museum in the Woodlands which was a disappoinment...the Houston one is 1000 xs better! Then we went to the Rob Fleming Aquatic park which ended up being alot of fun BUT right when we got there I took him into the kid pool to drive a steering wheel and had no idea what the bell ringing was all about until a huge bucket way up high dumped water all over us making us fall down into the pool...it scared both of us! So we spent the next 45 minutes calming down and finally calling the bucket "dumb bucket" and he was back into the water! They seriously shouldn't have that in a kid pool!
We got to visit with 2 of my best friends and their daughters this week too! Always so much fun to see ourselves all grown-up with kids!
We headed to the Houston Zoo to check out the Dinaosaur exhibit which was disappointing to me but I think Jaxton could have cared less about it! He enjoyed the elephants, giraffes and the cheetahs the best and of course the Choo-Choo train ride where he said" Boobies" to the lady sitting behind us...HELP!!!!
And we ended the week with a quick trip to Yogi Bear Jellystone Park which I never knew existed here! It is more for campers but you can go and spend the day there. Jaxton liked the water park and seeing the real Yogi bear! But again they had one of those "dumb buckets" too BUT this time I was prepared!!!
After a long week of exploring Houston more, Ross finally came home and spent the weekend with Jaxton while I went to my Mom's house to install a bunch of new stuff in her house....yes I am a handy woman!! But the craziest thing happened when I was there...we had a horrible hail storm for 30 minutes! We were running to pull her new car in the garage and trying to dodge all the hail but we got pounded on and it was even harder to run in the hail on the ground....CRAZY...Ice in July!!!

Well Jaxton is 22 months old now and talking up a storm! I don't think there is a minute that goes by that he isn't saying something or repeating every word I say....gotta really be careful what we say now.....even words like diarrhea...because he remembers these words all of a sudden and blurts them out when we are in public places!!!!!!
