Well we sure did have another month of celebrations!!  We started it off with Mom-mie turning 36...oh my gosh...gettin' older by the minute!! Of course I celebrate it the whole month but we did have a great time in the Woodlands at Food & Wine week....unfortunately my old self, Roxy, came to visit that night and she danced like there was no tomorrow BUT then tomorrow did come and I had to deal with the "leftovers"...aka.."hangover"....hadn't done that since before JAxton was born and won't do it again til my childbearing AND rearing days are done...LOL !!  Good Times Though!!
I was also SWORN in as the President of my MOMS CLUB on the day of my Birthday!!  I have enjoyed this Club so much so that I guess all the other MOMs wanted to have me as their President...what a COMPLIMENT!!  I hope to not only better the lives of all the other Moms and Kiddos but to help out other needs of people through our Fund Raising Opportunities being a International Non-Profit Organization...so be on the look out for some fun events!!
Jaxton is totally LOVING the pool this summer and in fact any water he can get into...no fear here!!  I put floaties on him the first time about 2 weeks ago and I totally thought he would rip them off in 2 seconds BUT to my total amazement he wanted them on and in about 5 minutes or less when he got into the pool he wanted to push off the steps all by himself and FLOAT!!  AWESOME...so much more freedom in the pool now!!
For Father's Day we spent the weekend relaxing and drove to Sheridan, TX ( about 1 1/2 hrs southwest of Cypress) to go to Splashway Waterpark.  It was like a mini Schlitterbaughn but Ross still felt like he was swimming in everyone else's PEE !!  Jaxton loved it and didn't want to leave but when we finally did 4 1/2 hrs later he couldn't even keep his eyes open long enough for us to pull out of the parking lot!  That is one great thing about the water....it makes them take GREAT NAPS!!! Ross went to Conroe for the evening to spend time with his Dad and then on Sunday we celebrated it with Ross and Jaxton and G.G. too for her birthday! Unfortunately, as everyone knows, my Dad isn't here for me to physically tell him how much I LOVE him but he knows :) 
Jaxton has been helping me cook in the kitchen a whole lot lately...he really gets into it but also wants to taste everything cooked and uncooked!! His latest attempt was to try to lick the flour off his finger like it was sugar...not so good but now he calls it "raw" like when I tell him the chicken is raw and we have to cook it first before we eat it!
He is still OBSESSED with the CARS movie and it is on CONSTANTLY in the house....better than crazy TV I guess.  He has learned all the CARS names and even one liners throughout the movie.  He has a favorite part in the movie that he asks to watch Scene 5 again and will now use the remote to go to Scene 5....Little Smarty Pants!!  The CARS movie has also been the one thing that gets "paused" when he is having a "hissy fit" about something and he goes crazy when that happens but then cools off pretty quick so he can have it turned back on.  Works so much better than a Time Out!
I'm not sure what he is going though lately but I think his little Brain is registering more things than he can process and then he has these "hissy fits".  He is the sweetest little Toddler but when he gets upset about something he will throw his cars, scream and if I am close enough try to hit me out of frustration!  It drives me nuts BUT I know he is just growing up BUT I know at the same time I have to help him understand he can't hit and throw things so we are working on that...GEEZ...Can't wait for this phase to be over!!!!

I know I said I would not go this long between blog updates BUT we have just been so busy!!  We did lots of fun things with our MOMS Club this month....bowling, berry picking, swimming and I even went to Austin for a weekend with some of the other Moms to attend a National Luncheon for our organization.  We ended up staying the night in a hotel...where there was a Prom going on so we had to move rooms cause the music was vibrating our room...are we old or what??? We had some great sushi and conversation!!  I visited my dear friend Giovanni and his wife Megan to see their 1st born daughter Giulianna ...so precious!!  Ross stayed with Jaxton and his parents came over to visit and take Jaxton to the pool for the 1st time this year and of course loved it again!! But he is SO NOT INTO BALD HEADS of any kind and gave Grandad a hard time.  Thank goodness he doesn't have a go-tee or mustache cause he doesn't like those either!!

We took a trip to the Zoo on the 1st cloudy and windy day we had and Jaxton and I even had a picnic!!  So much fun...will have to do more of these in the fall when cooler and with Dada!!  This month on the 23rd is the day my Dad passed away 18 years ago and to honor him we had dinner out and looked at old pictures my Mom brought and just reminesced on all our memories!!  I sure do miss him and I know he would of been building all kinds of stuff for Jaxton and I probably would of never had to visit the toy store!!!

Memorial Day weekend came and went too fast but we had fun celebrating in honor of all the military who fought for our freedom!!  My Aunt Sally and Uncle Jimmy along with Mimi came over to hang out and enjoy some great ribs and chicken Ross smoked on the grill all day!!  I took Jaxton to Kemah right after the weekend was over and it was another perfect day (although much hotter this time)...no one was hardly there so we pratically had all the rides to ourselves and the water fountains to play in!!  Jaxton (or maybe it's me) has been obsessed with all the cars from the original CARS movie so we try to collect them anywhere we go because they don't make them anymore...we are even getting a few on e-bay...LOL!! The new movie comes out on June 24th and we have almost all the new cars for that movie....I think it's more me than him but the movie is SO GOOD and he LOVES them so much!!  He memorizes all their names and asks to watch ceratin scene's over and over again!!  I can't wait until CARS2 goes to DVD so we have another movie to watch....poor Tinkerbell only comes out every now and then lately!!!

We just got back from Tyler visiting Ross's sister and family.  His niece, Ashlyn, graduated from the 8th grade and they had a huge ceremony for them....all 355 of them!!  That was the same number I had in my graduating high school class!!  We are so proud of her....she's gonna do great in High School!!  Jaxton had fun laying with his cousin Austin and all his toys....Austin even gave him a couple cars from the CARS movie....Jaxto LOVED that!!  Before we headed home we drove to Longview to visit with Ross's Grandma Theda since she will be turning 95 next weekend!  She looks great and is still sharp as ever!!  We had to leave early because Jaxton was WAY OVERTIRED from all the traveling and was crying to go sleep in the car and go home :(

Well JUNE brings many celebrations for us too so we are sure to be full of pictures .... I will update soon so I'm not sitting on this computer for hours!!!
