I am such on Cloud 9 I can't even explain!! I would explain but this little Princess has been giving me nausea ALL DAY LONG!! I have been taking Zofran when I need it the most and trying to hang tough through this part....just hoping it eases up REAL SOON!!!
Ross and I ( or maybe it was ALL ME ) said we were going to start trying the very last week of August ( this would have been the time I think I would have been ovulating)! This was also Jaxton's 1st week of MDO !! Big week for us all and I even had many glasses of champagne knowing that probably wasn't good for my chances of trying to conceive that week...but I figured this was the first week we started and it probably was going to take a few tries!! Well I took a pregnancy test when I thought I had given it enough time for the pregnancy hormone to show up and I was SO BUMMED it said "Negative"..I had bought the "new" digital Pregnancy Tests this time so it for sure told you yes or no. The very next day I bleed in the morning and I thought "oh there is my period so I am definitely NOT pregnant" :( But then I never bleed anymore and I always have pretty heavy periods so I said "Ok, I will test one more time in a few days with the other digital test I had left". So a few days later ( Sept. 19...would have been my parents Anniversary) I tested again and the dang thing said "ERROR"!! Good Gawd!! I was so frustrated that I grabbed Jaxton so fast that morning and headed to Walgreens to buy the "old school" EPT test that shows a "+" if you are pregnant! We raced home and as soon as I peed on that thing it said "+"...I was ACTUALLY PREGNANT!!!!!!!! I couldn't believe it !!! Could it actually happen that FAST again for me??? I even drank Champagne!!!!
Well since it was September 19th I was already planning to meet my Mom and my sister with Jaxton for dinner to celebrate what would have been my parent's Anniversary!! So I raced out and bought Jaxton a BIG BROTHER t-shirt and had him wear it to dinner that evening! I asked Ross to join along the way because I had to tell him first!! My Mom noticed his shirt and said " why are you wearing a Big Brother shirt?" Within seconds she looked at me and my BIG smile gave it away and she was SO EXCITED and said I thought you said you weren't pregnant???!! Then I had to go through the whole story!! Ross didn't understand at first either because he thought I wasn't pregnant either!!! Way too CRAZY and too FUNNY but how awesome it turned out!!! My sister was unable to make the dinner so I sent a text picture of Jaxton with his shirt and she was very excited too...so excited she POSTED IT ON FACEBOOK!!!!!!! So after a few of my friends read that and called me the next morning ( I had no idea my sister posted it) I had to call many and go ahead and tell them even though I was like only 2 weeks pregnant!! LOL!!!
So since then everything has been great except for the nausea!! I took too many Zofran at first and got so constipated ( which I NEVER am) that I had to take Milk of Magnesia and it felt like I had food poisoning when it started to work...the worst stuff ever even though it works!!! Ugh!! So I have cut back to one Zofran a day and try to push through some days without it but I wish I could take it all the time!! Hopefully soon I will be Zofran and Nausea FREE!!
Jaxton has been so curious and everytime he sees a baby now he says " Mommy is going to have one of those!". He feels my tummy and says he wants to feel the heartbeat. I am not showing much at all....just a little thicker around the middle with growing boobies!!
I had an idea this was going to be a GIRL only because I have NOT HAD ONE PIMPLE!! With Jaxton, I was pizza face at this point!! At least I will GLOW this time!!
So poor Jaxton's Blog has been pushed to the side since I am running to bed right after he goes to bed!! But I will get on track this next week and update!!!
We are so BLESSED that everything is going great so far and just PRAY that this little one continues to grow healthy and strong!!
