About 4 months ago we started planning a Family Vacation over to Florida with Ross's parents and his Sister and her family and we just arrived back !! We stayed in a condo which made it easy for us to cook some meals and wash clothes...which we did constantly!! Everyone drove except for Jaxton & I which we flew. I knew there would be NO WAY Jaxton could make the 9 hr car trip which actually took them a grueling 10hrs the first day and another 4 hours the next day...bad traffic for the 4th of July weekend!
We all arrived safely though and enjoyed a week of relaxation on the beach and hanging out with the family. The guys went fishing one day and we cooked it up that night and it was some of the best fish I have ever eaten...Jaxton even liked it!! Maybe because it was SO FRESH!! We all did a Dolphin Cruise which I planned and then I ended up getting sea sick that I didn't even get to enjoy the whole cruise :( but at least Jaxton got to see the dolphins jumping out of the water!! We mostly relaxed on the seashore and enjoyed the sun! It is always great to get away from the same ole same ole at home for a bit ...but by the week's end we all were ready to get home to our own beds!! The most significant thing that happened over the trip was that Jaxton is now fully potty trained! He has been ready for a long time now but I thought it would of been easier to wait until AFTER this trip to finally get rid of the diapers during the day but come to find out he was just way too ready and being in a condo with 3 toilets for an entire week made the process so much easier!! We are going UNDERWEAR shopping in the next day or so to make it official!!!
I also separated all the pictures we took into 3 different blog entries so I wouldn't overload the site like I did at Easter...LOL !!
