Jaxton has a fetish for feet...BUT ONLY pretty painted feet!!

These past few weeks have sure been tough for Jaxton....SO GLAD they are all over...at least for now!! I wish I could prevent him from getting sick FOREVER! He's back to his ole' self and playing harder and crazier than EVER!!! But he does want to be held by Mama alot more now since he was sick....I guess he really liked all the cuddling he did with me when he was feeling so terrible!! That's okay because I know he will be married before I know it and I will never get that cuddling time back!! But when I did not pick him up one time in the kitchen when I was trying to make his dinner...he showed me how MAD he really was....he started to cry some and grunt while sitting in place on the kitchen floor and then proceeded to grab at my pants let and continue this horrible grunting noise....this was truly the first time I have ever seen him get so MAD....I'm sure there will be more!!!

He has continued to stand on his head and look through his feet and then just Giggles.....I'm ready for that to turn into a forward roll one day when he least expects it! He started to clap his hands this past week and will do it when you ask him to...he's so proud that he figured it out! Still no Bye-Bye waving but he does open and close his hands ALOT!

He is starting to show how INDEPENDENT he wants to be...he wants to TOUCH everything and CRAWL everywhere we go...now I really can't wait until he can WALK!!

His appetite has been ravenous this past week and his GAG reflex seems to be disappearing....I say that and now watch it come back...PLEASE don't!! He loves WHIPPED cream cheese and Hummus and he even ate avocado FINALLY....that is such a SUPERFOOD!!

On Sunday my family ( The Saner's) came over to visit Jaxton! He had a blast and so much so that he would not take an afternoon nap AT ALL... he finally crashed at 6:15 because he could barely keep his eyes open and slept unti 7:30 the next morning!!

We have just been taking it a little easy so he can be all well for his BIG 1st BIRTHDAY coming up!!! I was telling my Mom about Jaxton's birthday cake I ordered and mentioned that I ordered it from Three Brother's Bakery and she said..." the one off Braeswood???"...and I said, "Yes,why??"...she said, "OMG...that's where I used to get yours and your sister's cakes from when you were little!!!" EERIE!!!!!!! Pretty cool though!!!

Only a few more days too until he can sit facing FORWARD in the car and actually see where we are going...YEA!!! I'm going to wait to transition to cow's milk after we get back from our California trip....don't want NO DIARRHEA there!!!
