Happy Easter....Biggest Blog Ever...LOL !

Due to my inability to edit all the pictures I have taken this past month there will be much blank space between the pictures below....JUST KEEP SCROLLING!!  For some reason ( maybe too many pictures...LOL) I was not able to go back and add captions...only on the first few!  I will never wait this long again between posts!!  We have just been so busy that I have not even had a moment to sit down and blog!!  Unfortunately after all of our "partying" Jaxton came down with a stomach virus on Monday and is still down and out....to make matters worse he got stung by a mean ole wasp on his ear yesterday on our back patio!!  Ross EXTERMINATED the WASP and her BED!! 
But as for the past month we have been having a lot of fun!!  The weather has given us many fantastic opportunities to stroll on outside and breathe that cool crisp air on most days.  I took Jaxton to many parks lately and we have had many MOMSClub events outside with the kiddos! Jaxton sure had enjoyed his friends and the Moms....what a great choice I made joining that group!
Ross and I were FINALLY able to get away for a weekend and traveled down to Rockport for a 40th Birthday / Fishing Excursion for my sister's husband.  We enjoyed the long drive down there without having to "entertain" a toddler or be quiet while he slept....BUT Ross did think he was in a recording studio the whole way down there....just picture us in is tiny black b-box company car with the music blaring and Ross singing every note high and low while rocking the car back and forth with his dance moves..thank GOD the windows were tinted...but it did bring back old memories of some of our rode trips prior "parenthood"!  We had a relaxing weekend and Mimi took perfect care of our little boy....I'm not sure he even missed us she kept him so busy!! Or she just did everything like "Mom-mie" does!!
We went back to visit the Easter Bunny at the Woodlands Mall since Jaxton was very fond of him there last year and sure enough he still LOVED him!!  What a sweet smile he gave us!  Grandma joined us for lunch and then Jaxton and I enjoyed the rest of the beautiful day eating GODIVA ( which he asked to go back and get MORE "GODIVA") and playing around at Market Street!  We ended the day with him playing with "Mom-mie's" screwdrivers and eating dinner at a place called the LOVE SHACK!  It was a very old house they turned into a restaurant right around the corner from us where you sit under a huge white tent with chandeliers and can enjoy a hamburger that is served between donuts if you like!!!!  And wine served in a plastic "Dixie" cup!!
Jaxton also got to visit the Easter Bunny in our neighborhood!  He was still upset though that none of the Easter Bunny's twitch their nose....he had been practicing this all season long!!  But we finally saw a REAL Easter Bunny at our church, Chapelwood, and he twitched and twitched his nose!  This was Jaxton's 1st Easter Egg Hunt this year and he learned real quick that you have to run FAST to get the eggs!!  As we left there and were heading to my mom's for dinner Jaxton and I had a tire blowout on I-10!!  And unfortunately my car charger was not in the car and I was on WAY LOW BATTERY...but had enough juice to call road side assistance and my mom to bring Jaxton some Chick-fil-A since it was dinner time and no telling how long it was gonna take them to arrive!!  Jaxton got upset cause we weren't moving and the car was leaning but as soon as Mimi showed up and diverted his attention the man showed up and fixed us all up!!  Whew!!
I threw Jaxton his own Easter Egg Decorating Party with all our MOMs Club friends and the kiddos had so much fun dippin' the eggs and makin' a mess....but that is what it is all about!! Ross joined in on the egg decorating the next evening with Jaxton and they made some really cool eggs!!  Jaxton loved to "DROP" the egg in the dye so the "CRACKS" made for some great designs!!
I hesitantly decided to take Jaxton to the "REAL" movie theater to see the movie "HOP" and figured we would just be there for a few minutes if even that cause I wasn't sure how he would do with a dark, closed-in room! He practically RAN inside and ordered up Junior Mints and was climbing the stairs to sit way up high!  Fortunately there was only one other mom in there so I was able to capture a few pics!!  He pretty much watched the entire movie sitting/standing in place with a few exceptions of running down the aisle of seats we were sitting in....guess he needed to stretch his legs!! It was a success!! 1 hr. 30 min!!!  Guess we will have to see the new "Cars" movie in July!!!
And then came Earth Day which fell on Good Friday this year!!  Jaxton and I have had the tradition to spend the day down at Discovery Green and this year we made it down there again...THANK YOU for wonderful Earth Day weather!! Mimi had the day off and spent the day with us!  We traveled to the Children's Museum first and she was amazed at this place!!  So much fun!!  Then we headed down to Discovery Green where we couldn't get Jaxton out of the water fountains!!  He LOVED it this year!!  We finally got a break and ran to the Grove for some Grub and vino!!
Easter weekend we spent Saturday up in Conroe at Cannon's Birthday Party at Chuck E. Cheese, which I was so looking for the ball pits to keep Jaxton out of them BUT they must have gotten rid of them years ago...thanks goodness...all those stories of feces and needles in the ball pits scared me to death!! Jaxton had been wanting to go there since it is advertised on the Disney channel all the time so he was excited to finally go....and eat ICING!!!  After running around for 2 hrs we headed to Ross's parents in Conroe for dinner and Jaxton's 2nd Easter Egg Hunt.....this time he remembered to run fast and was beating his older cousin in finding eggs!!
Jaxton woke up Easter morning to find that the Easter Bunny has come when he was asleep!!  He is infatuated with MUFFLERS and MUDFLAPS so of course the trucks / cars was his favorite gift!!  He then headed outside in his pj's for his 3rd Easter Egg hunt and by now was a total PRO at egg hunting!!  Unfortuantely I should have left the "real" eggs sit out at room temperature for a bit so the dye was all dried!!We headed to Aunt Laura & Uncle Zach's house for Easter dinner and his FINAL & 4th EGG HUNT!! Mimi bought him to cutest bow-tie Easter outfit and I couldn't believe he was all excited to put it on and he kept it on!! The Easter bunny visited him there too and brought lots of fun stuff and his FAVORITE friend "TINKERBELL"!!!!!  Mimi surprised him with her and let me tell you why he likes her....because he says she is NAKED!!!  If you haven't watched Tinkerbell....watch it....and look how SKIMPY her outfit is!!!!  TOO FUNNY!!!!
What a fun Easter season it was!!!  Now it's time to get WELL cause May brings us a lot of celebrations too!!!
