Kemah Spring 2011

He tried to run away from me but thank goodness the gate was closed!! Geez!

Jaxton was getting so tired he layed his head down for a moment...lol

So we took a break for drinks on the comfy furniture out by the water

He LOVED the Pink Lemonade but he said "Pink is for girls!"

1st time to a REAL CANDY STORE...already learning how to SCOOP!!

Dada DID IT!!! He dug this Pygmy Palm root out for hours!!!

This thing was huge! You should have seen Mom-mie and Dada roll it up the yard and into the wheelbarrow!

My DIRTIEST DAY YET!!! ( I should have showed you before I washed off!)

I was riding on top of the dirt in Dada's wheelbarrow over and over again!

Well I could easily tell you Spring is here....ALLERGIES GALORE!! My eyes have not stopped watering for 2 weeks now and if I happen to miss my daily Zyrtec it's for sure a miserable few hours before it finally works! Thank goodness Jaxton hasn't been hit yet with them.

BUT I sure do enjoy all the pretty flowers and fresh air that comes along with it and so does Jaxton! He LOVES to smell the flowers and says "that one is pretty!" We spent the entire weekend after St. Patrick's cleaning up our yard and now it finally looks PRETTY!! Jaxton had a blast this year doing the yardwork with us and for 2 full days he helped out and had NO NAPS....we all had some good SLEEP after though! This past month (or more) Jaxton has said "No nap." I have tried many times to make him lay down BUT he just can't seem to fall asleep. Every now and then he will take a good nap but it seems like he may be growing out of his nap already!! Good and Bad! Good...because we can play all day without having to be home BUT BAD because he is so exhausted in the evening and is wild!! We will see how long this will last...

We have spent alot of time outside these past few weeks and have LOVED it!! We have been to an outside birthday party, Cy-Fest, many parks and the ZOO already!

Mimi took 2 days off work last week and we spent one whole day down at Kemah! Literally! We met up for lunch at LaMadeline and were down at Kemah by 1pm....we left at 8pm...LOL! Mimi bought all day carnival passes so we rode and rode the rides til it was too chilly to do anymore! This was the most beautiful day we have ever spent down there....couldn't have been more perfect! The next day we spent the day with her going to Brookwood (plant/flower nursery), LaCenterra and finishing off at El Jarrito ( Jaxton's favorite Mexican food place that he asks to go to by name....LOL )

But before we go I have to mention a few things Jaxton has become interested in....or should I say OBSESSED with. Drains of course will always be a favorite BUT NOW it's Mufflers and Mudflaps!! We look for them all the time on the highway and he buys HotWheel cars all the time to see the mufflers!! We even took a trip to Autozone ( fora tailight bulb for our truck) and you would of thought he was at Toys R Us!!!

He LOVES to drink water from our cups outside on the back patio and SPIT it out anywhere and everywhere....this is what happens when you try to teach a toddler how to spit after brushing his teeth....I think I should have waited a little longer!!

And last but not least he LOVES to say "Okay,okay" after we ask him to NOT do something....it's his way of appeasing us!!!!

Oh, and he loves to have "milk & coffee in the morning"! Which means, Mom-mie and Dada drink their coffee while I have my milk. I think he enjoys it almost more than Ross & I !
