| After this long evening nap 4 days after being sick....Jaxton was a brand new kiddo...back to normal!!! |
Well May is here and not short of any celebrations!!! We started right off with that yucky stomach virus but was finally over it in enough time to attend our MOMs Club Spring Fling Event at a local park and then a long nap so we could enjoy our friends and crawfish!! Jaxton loved those little critters while I was screeching every time he put in on my jeans!!
Cinco de Mayo blew in too and we started the morning off at a Salsa Mixer where Ms Anabel showed us how to make homemade salsa and tortillas. We even tasted milk water and hibiscus water which surprisingly were very very good...have to go get some for home!!
We enjoyed an evening outside at Alicia's Mexican Grille for some margaritas and food and ended up with free t-shirts and hats!!!
The very next day was our 5th Wedding Anniversary!!! Ross took off work and we drove around the corner to House Plantation and reminisced about that beautiful night...Jaxton loves running around that place too! We enjoyed a nice lunch and headed to the "Love Shack" with Aunt Laura & Uncle Zach for dinner where I ate my very 1st hamburger sandwiched between 2 Honey Bun Doughnuts....SINFUL....BUT AWESOME!!! You gotta try it one time in your life then go run for days!!!!
Saturday we had a small party at our house to celebrate our Anniversary....this was Jaxton's first true night party at our house and he hung in there until 10 o'clock where he fell asleep in my arms outside on the patio! What a trooper!!!
Sunday was Mother's Day and we decided all the Mom's needed a break from cooking so we had lunch at Brio with Mimi, Aunt Laura & Uncle Zach and his mom Mary, Grandma, Grandad and Memaw.
We headed home and we all crashed early!!!
