Well I am very late updating Jaxton's blog because we have had a really crummy week!! Last week started off with MORE TORRENTIAL rains which ruined our plans to go to Gymboree and kept us house bound!! Whah!! AND WE HAVE HAD A SWINE FLU PANDEMIC!!! This is the first time I have EVER seen schools close down due to a bug!! And to top that all off....Jaxton came down with 102.3 degree fever on Wednesday making us very worried with all this swine flu so we took him to the after hours Texas Children's clinic Wednesday night and after a finger prick (which he TOTALLY HATED because they keep squeezing your finger to force the blood out!!) and a urinalysis the Dr. concluded that he just had the CRUD and to watch him over the next few days. Ross had been coughing and not feeling well too so he went to the Dr. and got the same diagnosis but the Dr. gave him a z-pak just in case. This was the first time ever since Jaxton has been born that I had to bring him to bed with me because he was not wanting me to let him go so he slept on me for 2 nights and FINALLY broke his fever and started to feel somewhat better.

We had to graduate to new pj's too this past week since he is TOO LONG for the footsies any more!!! he's gonna be taller than me by the time he is 5 I think!! He has been really scooting those legs underneath him and I have a feeling he will be crawling very soon!!

On Saturday we attempted to go to Cheri and Nates's for their annual crawfish boil and Jaxton had fun there BUT was coughing a whole lot and when I tried to feed him his dinner there he coughed so hard that he projectile vomited all over himself!! WHAH!! So on Sunday I could tell he was not feeling well and made an apt to go see his Dr. AGAIN!! So we went Monday morning and she said he was just starting to get an ear infection but IT WAS REALLY EARLY...BUT this meant ANTIBIOTICS for his very FIRST time!!! Whah!!! So she gave him amoxicillian and even though they flavored it like bubble gum he threw it up after I tried to give it to him so I read the package insert very well and it said you could put it into his formula and so that is what I did and he drank it down like a champ!!!! Thank Goodness!!!

Then on Tuesday Ross decided to take his z-pak because he throat was starting to hurt. That night I woke up with my throat hurting ( I was really just waiting to get this after being around both of them sickies) so I had a z-pak stored away and have now started taking that!! Hopefully by Mother's Day we will all be feeling much better!!!

So as you can see it has been one crummy week!!! PLUS...Jaxton's top tooth has not come in yet BUT he is trying to get BOTH top teeth the Dr. said!! Poor little Man!!! What a mess!!!

As most of you know...I like to celebrate ANY HOLIDAY!!! So for Cinco de Mayo I surprised Jaxton with his very own Tweet Tweet Pinata and he just kept smiling at it and wanting to pull off the paper from it!!

Yesterday, May 6th, was our 3rd Anniversary. I took Jaxton out to where Ross and I got married and gave him his bottle on the porch in the rocker and just reflected on what a PERFECT DAY that was!!! Then Ross and I celebrated at home with some great wine we have been saving from our Napa trip and some good steaks. To really celebrate it we ( Ross, Jaxton and me ) are going to go to Horseshoe Bay next weekend!!! I can't wait!!! We all need it and it will be Jaxton's first time to experience the POOL!!!! YEAH!!!!
