1st Day of School !!! (Mother's Day Out that is !)

Shopping for a new "Preschool" Book...the one we got, Maisy goes to Preschool was actually the book the teacher read to them on the very 1st day of school...maybe I should be a teacher!!

We played at Pump It Up and had lunch with Emma & Ellie!!

2nd day of Preschool...he's there as I am finishing this blog :)

His ABC's

The Lord's Prayer...I have sung and hummed this to him since he was born :)

Hallelujah!!!!!  HE WAS PERFECT at school and LOVED IT!!!  I couldn't believe it!! 

We met his teachers, Ms. Susan & Ms. Diana, last Thursday and I gave them each a note explaining "B2B" and "MOMO" and they were very appreciative...LOL!!

I woke Jaxton up for his 1st day and played the song my parents used to play for us, "Back To School Again" from the movie Grease, and we danced around having fun that morning!  I packed up his lunch and showed him what he was going to eat and he said, " I want to go to school now," so off we drove to school singing " Knee Deep in the Water Somewhere" until we arrived.  Ross unfortunately had to be out of town.  But my Mom met me there and videoed his 1st day.  I think we were way more nervous than he was!!  He wanted to wear his backpack and walk all by himself ...my little baby is growing up :(  But I was so HAPPY he was EXCITED and not SCARED at all!!  The teacher opened the door and we had to DROP them and GO!! 

My Mom and I had planned what we were going to do until 2:15 to keep our minds busy so off we went!  We had crepes at Coco's and then went Boutique shopping and bought some fun stuff!! We headed to Toys R Us and bought Jaxton some surprises for making it through his 1st day...Hopefully...no phone calls at this point :)  We headed to the mall and even bought Jaxton his favorite chocolate...GODIVA!!  Before we knew it, 2:15 was almost there so we headed to go pick him up and anxious to see how he did.  We peeked through the window and he was drawing on the chalkboard and erasing and having FUN!!  Then she read them a book,which we actually just bought a couple days before not knowing she was going to read that exact one, and when she turned to the toilet page I saw Jaxton get up and point at the toilet and he probably said "he's MOMOing" or "he's NAKED"...LOL!! She opened the door and he had the BIGGEST SMILE ever on his face and gave me the BIGGEST HUG!!!  My heart was filled with such JOY I can't even describe it!!!  WOW!!  He was actually going to LOVE IT!!!  The teacher said he settled in very quickly and follows directions well!!  BUT that he didn't want to take a nap and was kinda being loud so she tried to explain to him that his friends were sleeping so he needed to be quiet but when he looked around and saw that no one had their eye's closed he replied " But No One is Sleeping"!! Ha!!

We took him to Menchie's for a treat and headed home so he could play with his surprises and we could celebrate with some Champagne!!!  We were all in bed by 8:15 that night!!!!

So I pray that he continues to LOVE school and will eventually take a nap there :)
