I truly can not believe I have a THREE YEAR OLD!!  He was definitely not a Terrible Two's kid but I think he will be a Trying Three's Kiddo for sure...too smart for his own good that he thinks he knows best...LOL!!

First, I will update you on his schooling!!  He has done remarkable!!  He has not cried for me at all nor has he been in any serious trouble!!  He is now going into school WITHOUT his "B2B" and keeps it in his napmat until naptime...growing up!!  BUT we ( the teachers and me) finally figured out how to get him to at least stay on his napmat during naptime if he wasn't going to sleep.  I told her he sleeps "naked...only underwear" during naptime at home but I know that is totally unacceptable at school..LOL.  Then I told her I tickle his arm and hum to him but knew that they don't have the time to do that either with all the other kiddos SO I told her that he loves to SNUGGLE in a few blankets on the couch so MAYBE if I sent extra blankets to school with him in his napmat that would help....well PRESTO...it totally helped!!  Although I look like I am taking a kingbed to school everyday BUT OH WELL...it works!!  Up until just this past Thursday he has taken NO NAPS at school but to all of our surprise he told Ms. Susan he was tired and asked her to tickle him "right here" on his back and was out like a light she said...YEAH!!!!!

They celebrated his 3rd Birthday at school last week and we brought his favorite dessert to share with all his friends and teachers...TRUFFLES!!!  They said he was so excited when they passed then out...LOL...of course I did ask permission first and they thought it would be such a nice change to just plain ole cupcakes/cake!!  They took pictures for me but have been delayed in getting them to me...but coming soon!!

Ross & I enjoyed a night out last weekend ourselves before our Family Birthday for Jaxton.  We drove up to the Woodlands and ate a wonderful steak dinner at Kirby's and then went to the Maroon 5 / Train concert...what a relaxing evening we had...needed that for sure!!

Jaxton has his 3 year check-up and was FINALLY 30 lbs (31.57%) and 37 inches (31.75%)...he had a CBC...poor baby...finger pricks are yucky...BUT cholesterol was good but needs more Iron.  He got a nasal mist Flu Shot which was SO MUCH BETTER than an actual shot!!!  No more shots until age 4!!!!

On his actual birthday, Sunday September 25th we had a big family celebration for Jaxton at our house.  He enjoyed every minute of it as you can image when all the attention is on you!!  Since he is so into MUFFLERS, MUDFLAPS, and pretty much any car/truck you can image we decided to forgo a kiddo birthday party this year and instead take Jaxton to Ft. Worth to have a birthday weekend at the Gaylord Texan hotel and go to NASCAR on that Saturday so he can get his FILL on MUFFLERS for sure!!!  But in the meantime he has plenty of new toys to keep his busy thanks to all our FAMILY!!!

So CHEERS to our Little Baby for growing up into such a Sweet & Vivacious Little Boy!!!
