Katy Go-Texan Parade 2011...9:30 a.m.

Walkin the Choo-choo tracks

Mom-mie and me....Jaxton not too sure what we were doing so early in the morning

Dada and Me!

Tailgating at the Parade....so Happy we have an SUV...portable playpen!!

Hangin' out the tailgate window

Still waving his Flag

Playin' with the Twigs

HERE COMES THE PARADE!!!

Horseys all dressed up

Still Wavin' that Flag!! The more you do the more Candy they throw!!

Old Katy Fire Truck

Just some of the candy he got...Geez!

Mr. Donkey wearing a cowboy hat

We have no idea who these people are but we sure do like their RIDE!!

Ole John Deer !!

Dancing to the BOOM BOOM BOOM music!!

Having way too much fun in the truck!

He kept licking the coating off the skittles and them spitting them out the back of the tailgate window onto the bumper...LOL!

Katy FFA Animals....definitely needed boots for out here!!

Trying to feed Mr. Bull hay but too far away

He was SO HAPPY to watch the pig snore and sleep right in front of him ( probably thought it was Dada!)

He even touched the pigs nose and it was SO WET!

Fire Truck ride all by himself ( he kept honking the horn and it was irritating the boy inf ront of him)

Rode a dune buggy next and I couldn't get a picture but he was rubbing his finger on the tire and it was getting all black and then he put it into his MOUTH!!

Rode a ChooChoo all by himself too.... just sittin' back and chillin'

AND last of all he rode a motorcycle all by himself but would hit his head on the bar behind him cause the motorcycle would take off so fast when it started..but it laughed it off

Rode a Rooster for the 1st time on a carousel with Mimi

After many time trying lately...Dada finally figured out how to catch a fish in our lakes

and Jaxton wanted to touch it...NO Fear...but wanted to put it back into the lake like Nemo

One evening just having fun while Mom-mie and Dada cooking out..Thank God for the warmer weather!!

Hanging out enjoying the evening in the paddle boat

Enjoying the beautiful weather on President's Day

My boat pose!

Our 1st fishing attempt this year!

Here Nemo, Nemo.......

I couldn't find Nemo or any of his friends :(

My friend Aidan even came over for playdate and couldn't find them either

We took a Tour of Engine 3 Firehouse with my MOMs Club ( this is on all the firetrucks now....pretty cool!)

Jaxton brought his own firetruck and never let it go

Jaxton thought this was cool and liked the sound the oxygen made but other kids were horrified

He even gave the Fireman a High-Five!

He stood in this one place for so long and just took it all in looking around

BIGGEST Muffler EVER!! ( He is so in to these now!!)

And vents on trucks too!!!

Went back many times to look at the BIGGEST Muffler ever!!

Tailgating!

Wanted so bad to turn on the water and use the fire hose!

Can we buy this one Mom-mie???

The firemen gave all the kids a bag of fun stuff as a favor!

Then we headed over to Willie's for all of us to have lunch and Jaxton finally played in the sand

But then I caught him doing this!

Jaxton's 1st Rodeo Parade at the Conroe Go-Texan Parade in Downtown Conroe

Mom-mie, Dada and Grandma with Me

Me and Woody taking a water break....warmest day yet this year!

Here come the Motorcyles to start off the Parade!

They called him "Hollywood" cause his sunglasses...but he didn't move much cause the motorcycles were TOO LOUD he said ( and they really were)

Here comes the Marching Band

....and the cowboys on their horseys!

Hiding from the sun!!

They threw me beads too!!

Coopie ( Cooper ) and C-man ( Cannon ) came to watch Parade with me too!!

Just sittin' on the curb watching all the entertainment ( pretty good for 2 1/2 year olds )

Od Conroe Fire Truck

My 1st Smartie ! ( candy) Not so much of a fan....

Way too FUNNY!!

So Jaxton just fed all the Smarties to Coopie!

....and MORE.....

Running up hill having fun with Cannon

Cannon Rolling down the hill very fast

...and Coopie too....

...but Jaxton would prefer to stick stuff down the drain...Geez!!!

Although he did love to run up and down that big hill

Then it was time to JUMP!!

...and THROW Ball!!

Cheri and I totally sweating chasing the kiddos but having fun too!
We finally took Jaxton to his 1st Parade at the Conroe Go-Texan Parade! We picked up Ross's Mom and then met our friends Cheri & Nate with their kids and enjoyed a warm day watching the kiddos have fun! I totally forgot that they throw candy the entire time at these things BUT the kids had so much fun eating it all!! Parades are a perfect event for 2 1/2 year olds too....lots of room to run around and the scene is always changing!!
So that's why we took him to his 2nd Parade the very next weekend! We got up early for this one and headed to the doughnut shop and were tailgating in downtown Katy by 9 am !! Jaxton knew this time what it was all about and he waved his little U.S. Flag amost the entire time and enjoyed all the candy AGAIN!! This time they actually threw chocolate...his FAVORITE!!
After a long nap at home, Dada went to the BBQ Cookoff at the Houston Rodeo and Jaxton and I went and picked up Mimi and went back to Katy for the animals and carnival! He loved the pig nose...(so wet)...and he heard a cow Moo so loud right in front of him ! The carnival had quite a few rides for his height ( which he barely made it...had to be 36 inches )....I just can't believe he can ride rides all by himself now without ME....growing up way too fast....but so much fun to see him smiling from ear to ear doing it!!
I know I put a ton of pictures on his BLOG but he LOVES to sit with Dada and look at all his pictures of what we have done recently....so bare with me!
