And the GROUNDHOG said it was going to be AN EARLY SPRING!!! It's been FREEZING literally lately!! Many nights below 32 and many days of indoor play!! Jaxton is not a fan of the cold weather and neither am I BUT it was good to finally get some winter weather...although we only saw snowflakes in the air these past two weeks it has been enough to fulfill our winter weather craving!! Much more difficult to be inside with a 2 year old and a HUSBAND...lol!! Ross was in New Jersey and barely made it home before the 1st ICE storm...Thank Goodness! Our house was involved with the rolling blackouts which meant our electricity was going off and on every 45 minutes...I decided to go get my oil changed just to get out of the house during this but then as they were in the middle of changing the oil their power went out too!! So Jaxton ate all his snacks, entertained all the other customers and used a baby wipe and practically cleaned all the sample tires on the wall. I decided to head to my Mom's that night since Ross was gone and there was no way either one of us would have been able to sleep with the power going off and on! Jaxton loved playing with Mimi's puppy the whole time so it was great for the both of us!

The next couple of days we were pretty much house bound so we cooked, watercolored, played play-doh, danced and watched NEMO about a 100 times. This past week was the 1st time Jaxton has ever watched a movie....he LOVES NEMO!! So much so that he never wants to turn it off...so we made it through the ice to get 2 more new movies so we could all have a break from that little orange fish!! He has also fell in love with the song "Dirty Bit" and wants to hear it over and over again too while dancing in Mom-mie's arms!! He even knows the words...we will catch that on video soon!!!
Jaxton ended up getting on antibiotics for the 1st time in awhile and finally has no more runny nose and stopped up head...he sounded like a different person when he talked...I think allergies may be playing a role too...been getting to all of us as well!

We ended up spending the evening at my sister's for Superbowl and the weather was so awesome that we were able to walk around her property and breathe some fresh air in!!

And LAST but not LEAST Jaxton is now formally enrolled in a Mother's Day Out Program at The Foundry starting in the fall!! He will be going on Tuesday and Thursday's from 9:15 to 2:15.....what on Earth am I going to do with myself????!!!! LOL !! Relax!!!
