Happy New Year's Day!!Happy 2011 to everyone! I seriously don't know where last year went....that was the fastest year in my life! I guess because we had so many adventures and I never would have thought Jaxton would grow up so much in one year! I can only imagine how much he will change this year too!
We decided to stay at home for New Year's Eve and not brave the crazy roadways....you tend to make much smarter decisions after having a child. Ross and Jaxton laid down to take a nap while I braved the grocery store which proved to be crazier than I thought....I saw 2 arguments and one ended up with the cashier chasing after someone out the door :0 So I grabbed our steaks and RAN!!!
Ross pumped up the radio and had Jaxton dancing and truly singing the words to the Top 2010 Songs....he was hilarious!! We introduced Jaxton to Silly String and too bad I didn't buy more cause the excitement of spraying it went way too fast for him! So we brought out Vanilla Bean Ice Cream in a cone and he was just as happy! Ross grilled us up some steaks and we relaxed the rest of the evening!
We did have spectacular fireworks all around us BUT it sounded like WWII and when it approached midnight it was like World War TEN!!! Jaxton saw a few and then asked to go to bed and I thought he would be crying in a few minutes and I would have to go get him and let him sleep with me BUT the poor little guy fell fast asleep and only rolled around a few times!
We woke up to a beautiful brisk morning and Ross and I took turns running around our neighborhood and then he joined some friends to watch football and Jaxton and I went and played at Mimi's house....good day of relaxation to start the New Year!!

cute cute cute! great to see you last week! just a precursor for what's to come... harrison woke at 630 twice last week and we let him "play" in his crib for 15 minutes... when we went to get him out, he was naked as a jay bird - had stripped out of pjs and diaper! AHHHH!!!!
OH NO!!! I hope the diaper doesn't start coming off too!! He has been wanting to take his shirt off all the time when we are home...maybe they feel FREE when naked!!
