YUM YUM !
Frosty! ( Or as they call him Frostbite here)
Rapping Time!!!!
It's already begun to be a busy and fun December for us this year! Jaxton got his 1st real moving train that goes aroud the Christmas tree ( this will go into the attic until next year so we can try to preserve it as a keepsake)! He has enough Christmas Friends to keep him entertained all season long too...he really likes the Reindeers especially Rudolph and has become obsessed with Elfie. One of my friends gave Jaxton the Elf on the Shelf set and you place the little red elf on the shelf and tell your kids he is watching you so you better be good so Santa can bring you toys and Jaxton repeats this too! Not sure if he totally understands but it is fun!
Ross has had a crazy few weeks with lay-offs at his company which THANK GOD he was saved! He was supposed to leave for training for 10 days so we celebrated his 35th Birthday early since we thought he was gonna be gone but they cancelled that and I was SO HAPPY... 10 days with a 2 yr old ALL BY MYSELF??!!
It would have been my Dad's 65th birthday on December 9th this year and I sure do miss him!! So my Mom and I shared an evening together and took Jaxton to Santa's Wonderland outside College Station. It was BEAUTIFUL! The lights were amazing and they even kept Jaxton entertained...although he was hanging his head outside the window looking for drains a couple of times! Geez! After the drive through part we visited Santa's Town where there was a whole town set-up like you were at Santa's home! Every house had lights and there was plenty of food and snacks to take care of anyones sweet tooth ( we enjoyed fudge, hot cocoa and popped lightly carmelized kettle corn which I am eating right now...I can't STOP...LOL ! ) Jaxton ran around the town and just had fun.....this is definitely something we will do every year now!
The next day Mimi took a vacation day and we went shopping and to Katy Mills Mall where they had a Santa Wonderland set-up at the Bass Pro Shops....BUT NOTHING like the one in College Station...but never the less Jaxton ran around fiddling with it all.
On Saturday, Ross and I took Jaxton to Old Town Spring to run around and enjoy some more Christmas lights. He ate his 1st funnel cake and kept asking for more! It was pretty darn good!!
Now for just a few updates in the life of Mr. Jaxton. He is still obsessed with drains, vents and now TOILETS!! He has always liked them but now we even draw them and their parts ( the bulb, pink drain, chain, flusher, etc)!!! He asks all day long to go "flush the toilet" and "lift the top" and I truly can't tell you how excited he gets!!! I am going to video and put it on here next time! We are still humming the Lord's Prayer at nap time and have had no temper tantrums! He has gotten over men's facial hair and now even wants to see "Moostache" ...aka mustache!
