Mimi taught me how to finally whistle with this flashlight/whistle
Finally, I have had a chance to sit down and update Jaxton's life! We are just about to start counting the days down until Birthday #2....holy cow!
We have been running around all over the past few weeks and looking back at these new pictures I can see my little boy actually growing up....changing so fast and learing so many new words!
A few weeks ago we went to swim at my sister's house and experienced what the Caddy Shack Pool part was all about!! As I was spinning Jaxton around and bobbing him up and down singing "Ring around the Rosie" in the pool.... Inoticed a cloud that appeared around me and him and immediatley knew it was MOMO that had escaped Jaxton's diaper! Unfortunatley it was not like what you saw in the movie BUT it was more like oatmeal flakes with flaxseed!!!!! I haven't seen anyone jump out as fast as I did when my sister and her husband knew what it finally was...LOL!! Poor Jaxton had no idea!
Other than that...the pool trips have been without MOMO and alot of fun! I took Jaxton to Noah's Ark Pool at First Methodist Church and he finally decided to start jumping into the pool and going all the way under and closing his mouth so he didn't choke! He did this I know for 100 times...seriously! He kept saying "AGAIN!" He has continued to get braver and braver with the water so hopefully next year we can sign-up for swim lessons and have success!
After having my camera for almost a year now I remebered it had a video on it too so I have tried to use it a few times so I could download him in action...hopefully it works because our really nice video camera is too powerful!
Ross's grandma, Memaw, celebrated her 90th birthday this month! We drove to Tyler to celebrate with almost 70 other family members and it was a perfect day for her I think! I enjoyed meeting the rest of the family I had not met yet and enjoyed seeing all Memaw's Great Grankids playing together!
And to end our last few weeks, Ross's parents asked us to join them down in Galveston at Moody Gardens with their other Grandkids for a couple days of water fun!! We enjoyed the Palm beach at Moody Gardens, the hotel pool, Schlitterbahn and the beach! Jaxton did really well at all the water activities EXCEPT THE BEACH....he hates sand and so do I so I couldn't blame him. I had enough time to capture a few pictures in his sailor outfit Mimi gave him before he was ready go "Bye-Bye"!
As we count down the days until Jaxton turns TWO, I am in awe of how much this little guy has learned and changed in just two short years....I am so BLESSED to have such a PRECIOUS and LOVING child!!
