Happy 4th AGAIN!!

Does my face look as scary as my hair??? ( Very Bad Hair Day!!)

I was a little worried if Jaxton would be awake all night from the fireworks BUT he slept through the war zone again just like he did on New Year's!!! Thank goodness!! Although I was up late reading my book cause it was so LOUD!!!

We stayed around the house for the 4th and Grammy came over to watch the display of fireworks that we can see from our backyard every year...we should have a July 4th party here every year since the show is all around us...pretty cool!!

Ross and I took Jaxton for his 1st boat ride and he LOVED it...he actually didn't really move much because he was just looking all around at everything. The water is so LOW out here due to the drought we have been having that I was worried we would hit a sand bar or something...haha....but we didn't! Those poor fish can't be getting enough oxygen...hopefully we don't have a red tide like they do in Galveston...yuck!!

When I was little I had a Snoopy snow cone machine and we used to crank and crank that thing until we got ONE snow cone FINALLY!!! I couldn't believe I found a new one in the Chasing Butterflies magazine and I had hoped they upgraded it with a button or something...BUT I WAS WRONG!! I guess a classic should never change!! Well I FINALLY got one made for Jaxton and he really didn't want anything to do with it except touch it AFTER he spilt it on the ground BUT he did like the apple juice that I put into the flavor squirter instead of the kool-aid mix!! Oh well...it was just fun to reminisce!!

Okay...since the Dr TOLD me to increase his formula intake the little booger has been TOO FULL to eat much...whah!! So I have been trying all new kinds of routines to figure it out and I haven't been too successful!! Maybe his tummy will just expand this next week to meet the bigger intake!! I have even gotten to the point I was going to use jarred baby food until he got his appetite back so I wouldn't waste all the food I have cooked BUT he doesn't want any part of that at all!! He does love my soy blueberry yogurt and a hard boiled egg yolk mixed with his formula so maybe that will be his diet for awhile!! Geez!! At least he loves to eat his O's now!!

His vocabulary is starting to expand just a little. He is starting to use the "N" now and say NaNaNa...hopefully NO won't be next...even though his tight pursed lips tell me that anyway!!!

He continues to babble all day and we can tell he is really trying hard to make some sense of it all. At least he is talking because he STILL IS NOT CRAWLING!!!! His teacher at Gymboree said he is doing everything right and it should happen any day now...yeah right...I have been saying that for a month now....well at least he likes to pull-up and dance in place!!! He just might be a walker.....or maybe even a RUNNER!!!!
