She is 8 Months Already!!

Bad, bad, bad Mommy for not updating our blog in 5 months!!  Guess I never really knew how much time it would take to raise kids and using my time at night to "get things done"!!!
Well Presley has been a very uneventful baby....this is GREAT news...she is just so sweet and goes with the flow!  She is just now starting to really babble and make a few scoots so I thought I better get back in "saddle" so she wouldn't feel "UNLOVED" later in life when she compared Jaxton's blog to hers...which is now called "their's"!!
She has had very few nights where she sleeps all the way through so I am still giving her 4oz of formula one time during the night...this is probably due to the fact that she is not a big baby food eater yet...maybe I should cut back on her milk...it's not like she is "TOO SKINNY"!! She definitely has the Hoke legs...poor Honey Boo Boo!!  She is wearing size 12 months at least...but she is very tall too. 
About a month ago (7 months) she started to flip over on her tummy and still has not mastered flipping back over so do you know what that means for poor Mommy???? ...I am having to go in and flip he back over several times during the nite...whah!!  Mommy  very tired these days BUT I know it won't last forever and since this is my last baby I am trying to enjoy every moment!!
Since she was born I have had a new phone which has taken me away from this computer and thus away from sitting down and writing about my kiddos...which is way more important to do..so my New Year's Resolution is to keep this up-dated more often and to get all my pictures printed and some hung up in the house.  I take a picture of her Monday thru Friday and post it on my facebook page...it started when everyone gave me sooooo many clothes I thought it would be a great way to say THANK YOU...but now she has so many friends that they say she makes their day so how can I stop now!!!!!  So much fun though!!!
I recently took her "beautiful bumpers" out of her crib and replaced it with a breathable bumper which makes me sleep alot better at night. 
She has loved the "bassinett" stroller I have for her and just loves to be out and about.  She LOVES to get people to notice her...way too funny!!  Basically she is just so laid back that sometimes you don't think she is around!!!!  I am sure that will change soon!!
Jax-Man has grown up alot too over the past 5 months.  He has really grown to love his sister and wants to be around her all the time.  When he gets into one of his crazy moods and is screaming for fun or getting mad..she just laughs at him thinking he is playing with her...I know that will change one day!!!
He adjusted to his new school about 2 weeks into it and has really LOVED being there....as well as learning so much about GOD !!  Then his teacher, Ms.Kelley, had to leave for an early maternity leave and we are hoping she will be back soon....although the substitutes have been wonderful!!
The thing that sticks out the most about Jaxton right now is that he LOVES to repeat phrases from movies....ALOT!!  Good ones and Bad ones....and I can't say thank you to Disney because there are many inappropriate phrases in their movies...geez!!!  So much for thinking your kiddo is just fine watching a "G" Rated movie!
He is still into cars and trash trucks and of course drains! Oh what will this turn into one day!!
Oh, I did forget we tried t-ball this fall and I think Ross ran after Jaxton more than Jaxton ran to a single base!!  Just wasn't for him:(  But he did look so cute in his uniform :)
We are excited for a fun filled 2013 and expect a lot of stories...so stayed tuned and hopefully we will bring you some laughs!!!

Okay so I am a little "late" on the blog this month and have become a FACEBOOK FANATIC!!  It is just so easy to upload a photo from my new phone!!  AND with all the outfits everyone gave Presley I just can't resist...I will definitely be in Facebook Rehab in the years to come..LOL!!  Jaxton will be too cause he says "just post it MOM"..LOL!!
Oh this has been one of the best summers ever since I know have TWO precious kiddos BUT it has been one very hard summer with Jaxton!! He is such a SWEET boy but he has been driving me CRAZY...literally!!  The "TRYING THREE'S" were definitely here!!  Hopefully the 4's will be so much better!!
He has grown up so much ( or has had to grow up so much) that it makes me sad to see him grow into a little boy and not a baby anymore :(  BUT at the same time he makes us laugh so much more with his "WITTINESS"!!  I am wondering what all his cute little quirks will turn into when he grows up :)
He played basketball at the YMCA for his 1st time ever!!  Practices started off with him running around crazy and not paying attention and sometimes even trying to show us his "boobies" by pulling his uniform to the side...GOOD GRIEF!!  Ross and I had to tag team and then I just decided to stay at home and let them go so he would have less distraction...not sure it helped totally but by the end of the season he was shooting hoops and dribbling!!  I think Ross buying Jaxton his own goal to practice on at home HELPED tremendously to give him practice and confidence!! FYI...Ross did make more holes in the goal post and was able to bring it down to his level...now why didn't Spalding just do that!!! 
Jaxton is going to try t-ball in the fall so I think we need to invest in all baseball stuff next...thank goodness his birthday is just around the corner!!
My Ms. Presley is just still the sweetest, most smiling baby ever!!!  She has started to go longer at night so I am mostly just feeding her once in the middle of the night and on occasion two times.  She takes about 2-3, 45 minute naps and a longer one in the evening and is out by 8:30 and so is Jaxton!!!
She has grown so much over the past I am anxious to see what she weighs and how tall she is at her 4 month apt on Sept 5th....which is also Jaxton's 1st day of school at his new school!!  Woo Hoo!!!!!  Presley will finally have some peace and quiet....hope she likes it....she may not!!!
My MOMS Club had kept us busy all summer long and I am so thankful for them and all the fun!!!!
